Introduction To Robotics Programming using LEGO WeDo

Ages 7 – 9

For 4 weeks, kids will learn the basics of robotics programming using LEGO WeDo. We will build simple robots and learn to program the motor, motion sensor and tilt sensor. This introduces kids to the world of robotics and is a prerequisite for the advanced robotics programming class.

Intermediate Robotics using LEGO WeDo

Ages 7 – 9

For 4 weeks, we’ll go deeper into programming LEGO WeDo. Learning more advanced programming blocks like the mathematics, logic and array programming blocks. Delving into reverse engineering and sharpening our presentation skills.

Advanced Robotics Programming using LEGO WeDo

Ages 7 – 9

For 8 weeks, the kids will work on task based projects. Over the course of the session, they will develop the mechanical design, build a prototype, test and debug the code for four robotic models. With each challenge handed out before the start of class, each student gets to think through their solution at home before presenting it in the next class. These classes teach problem solving, design, prototype building and coding skills!

Ages 10+

For 4 weeks, kids will learn the basics of robotics programming using LEGO Mindstorms EV3. We will build simple robots and learn to program the motor, Color Sensor, Gyro Sensor and Ultrasonic Sensor. This introduces kids to the world of robotics and is a prerequisite for the intermediate and advanced robotics programming classes.
